This ingeniously innovative and patented new drumstick is exciting drummers of all levels, from beginners to advanced. The Slapstik® is simple enough to start using instantly, yet so innovative that new sounds and beats can be created with endless variation. This is an exciting new tool, useful for approaching things differently and creating new feels and patterns - some never before possible by one person on a traditional drum kit.
While its main use is to play fast, syncopated, two handed hi-hat patterns with one hand, the Slapstik® can be played all over the drum kit. New sounds and techniques are already emerging at gigs and on records.
The Slapstik® is sold singly, not in pairs. It is intended to be used in the dominant hand, with a regular drumstick in the other hand.
